This book really gets one's head around what a computer actually does in layman's terms. Von Neumann is quite good at explaining complex concepts in a simple manner, which is great if you aren't a genius, as most people who revere him seem to be.It's quite a short book too.
Still... It's Landau and Lifshitz, truly a classic!
Ok well I may as well TEST too
What a terrible post.
CFD stuff just makes lots of pretty colours for managers.
Dude think of a better post. Jeez.
First time I've heard Asimov's Foundation as "another Sci-Fi". He was a trend-setter dude!
Though not a thermodynamics book, it's quite likely that readers of one will have read the other since they are both Chemical Engineering specific texts.
This connection makes no sense dude.
Furthermore it's really not useful, it's a nice historic text, but the modern way of laying out the exercises in a modern textbook is much easier to comprehend.
David Einhorns book Fooling Some of the People all of the Time is quite good too.
